The Bigger Than Me Podcast was launched in March 2020 by Aaron Pete and his partner Rebekah. Their goal was to create a space where entrepreneurs, innovators, and leaders could be interviewed in-person through long-form conversations. During the first year, Aaron focused on interviewing close friends, past professors, politicians, and business owners, and hosted 19 podcast episodes.

In 2021, Aaron expanded his horizons and guest list to include authors, artists, radio hosts, Indigenous leaders, and other notable figures. He aimed to highlight their personal journeys and successes, and released 21 podcast episodes during the year. Aaron also created a mini-series focused on "How to Start a Business." This series highlighted individuals with backgrounds in finance, entrepreneurship, law and business.

In 2022, Aaron had a breakout year, recording a whopping 50 episodes, more than his previous two years combined. Rebekah updated his brand and took over his social media accounts, while Aaron interviewed a diverse group of guests, including law experts, mixed martial artists, biologists, authors, journalists, and musicians. His two most viral podcasts were with Sto:lo Historian Sonny McHalsie, counsellor Kylie Bartel, and journalist Tara Henley. In June 2022, Aaron's home was flooded, and he temporarily lost his studio space. However, Tim McAlpine, the CEO of Currency Marketing and owner of Cowork Chilliwack, allowed Aaron to record his interview with the Mayor of Abbotsford out of his Studio C space.

In 2023, Aaron was inspired to move the podcast into Studio C full-time with Tim as the producer, allowing him to conduct video interviews with guests from around the world. In March, Aaron celebrated 3 years and 100 podcast episodes with a special 100th episode celebration, co-hosted by Rebekah. The podcast has featured UFC fighters, Indigenous entrepreneurs, popular musicians, biologists, emotional intelligence experts, and legal experts, among others. The future looks bright for the Bigger Than Me Podcast.
